As services providers, it is our duty to ensure best communication with our patients and/or clients. However, working with an interpreter can sometimes feel unnatural and awkward. 

ALTA's training is designed to teach you the basics of language access legislation and give you a better understanding of why interpreters do what they do. Participants will learn the interpreter code of ethics, tips for working with interpreters, how to coach an untrained interpreter, and much more.
